Financial Donation

The troop were delighted to accept a funding award from Abbots Langley Parish Council for £2500 as a contribution to replacing all the external doors at HQ.  Work commences after the Easter break and will give a much-needed facelift to the building whilst improving security, weatherproofing and temperature.  We are ever so lucky to have the support of the Parish Council to enable us to complete these big projects.

Join us for our Double Jumble Sale!

Jumble Sales are a huge tradition for our Scout Troop. Thanks to the sections who were busy on the nice springtime evenings delivering leaflets and collecting jumble (and munching on freshly fried chips) for the 2 Jumble Sales in March.  Thanks to our events team, parents and carers and friends of scouts who sorted the donations; there were heaps of items for sale.  Two sales later and we raised circa £2000 for HQ.  Brilliant stuff.

A huge thank you to Jamie and Victoria who hosted the Quiz Evening in March.  The questions were suitably challenging with a smackeral of scouty questions thrown in! The music round was interesting remembering adverts from across the ages. Half time Bingo and a raffle organised by Mandy meant we raised circa £400 for HQ.  Thankyou to all those who attended to make a really fun and social evening.
